The pianino, called also “organetto”, wandered around Europe, above all in Italy, where it amused a lot of people on the street, in ballroom, thanks also to melodic music such as Valzer, Mazurka and Polka. 

It was very important for the Sicilian string puppet theatre because during the show it accompanied the history of French paladins. 

Our company, thanks to the Association “Musica meccanica italiana” from Cesena, to the master Marco Giannotto from “ Il laboratorio di restauro strumenti musicali” of Turin, restored a Pianino with 33 notes and 2 bells, for showing it to the new generations and the tourist who visit Sicily
